Terms of Service

Effective date: April 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Liberty Power Home website, including the public directory, installer profile pages, city and brand pages, shortlist tools, quote request flows, and limited installer portal features.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information through it.

2. What The Site Does

Liberty Power Home is a California-focused directory and lead generation website for residential home battery storage, backup power, and related installers. The site lets visitors:

  • browse public installer profile pages and location pages,
  • view city, county, and brand-related directory content,
  • save installers to a browser-based shortlist,
  • submit quote or installer match requests, and
  • allow participating installers to access assigned leads through an invite-only installer portal.

The public site does not require a consumer account. Admin and installer portal access are restricted and may be changed, limited, or removed at any time.

3. Directory Information and Site Labels

Installer profiles, battery brand references, service area details, and related site content are assembled from available business information, reviewed sources, public materials, and internal editorial workflows. That information can change at any time.

Labels or classifications on the site, including terms such as "Confirmed," "Most likely," "Likely," "Ask installer," "coverage details," "source reviewed," "verified," or similar language, are informational signals only. They are not guarantees of current licensing, insurance, availability, response time, pricing, financing, exact service-area coverage, rebate eligibility, or project outcome.

In particular, labels such as "verified" or "source reviewed" reflect the site's current content and review workflows, not a legal certification, warranty, endorsement, or promise that an installer will be right for your project.

You are responsible for independently evaluating any installer, proposal, contract, timetable, and project claims before moving forward.

4. Quote Requests and Lead Routing

When you submit a quote request, installer inquiry, or shortlist request through the site, you are asking us to review and route your request as part of our lead-generation service.

  • Requests submitted from an installer profile may be treated as an installer-specific request.
  • Requests submitted from a shortlist flow may be routed to one or more installers in your shortlist.
  • General match requests may be routed to one or more participating installers based on factors such as your location, project type, brand context, and other request details.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee that any installer will respond, accept the project, serve your address, offer financing, provide a quote, or offer any particular price or timeline.
  • Submitting a request does not create a contract with an installer, and it does not require you to hire anyone.

We may receive compensation from participating installers for lead generation, introductions, or related commercial relationships.

5. Third-Party Installers, Links, and Sources

Installers listed on the site are independent third parties, not our employees, agents, or subcontractors. We do not perform the installation work ourselves through this website.

The site may link to installer websites, brand websites, government resources, source citations, or other third-party pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, offers, or availability.

Any agreement you enter into with an installer or other third party is solely between you and that third party.

6. Browser Shortlists and Convenience Features

The shortlist feature is a convenience tool that stores saved installer selections in your browser. Shortlist contents may expire, be cleared, or stop being available if the underlying installer listing changes or if your browser data is removed.

7. Installer Portal and Restricted Access

If we give an installer or business user access to a portal or other restricted area, that access is limited, personal to the invited account, and subject to these Terms and any additional instructions we provide.

Restricted users must not:

  • share sign-in links or credentials with unauthorized people,
  • access or try to access another installer's lead data,
  • misuse homeowner information received through the portal, or
  • use the portal for anything outside legitimate lead review, follow-up, and listing management.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes,
  • submit false, incomplete, or someone else's personal information without permission,
  • interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or probe the site for vulnerabilities,
  • scrape, harvest, or mass-download directory data without our written permission, or
  • use the site in a way that could damage the platform, other users, installers, or our business relationships.

9. Intellectual Property

The site design, text, arrangement, branding, editorial content, and software are owned by Liberty Power Home or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Installer names, logos, trademarks, and other third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the site is for identification, directory, or editorial purposes and does not by itself mean sponsorship or endorsement.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided for general informational and lead-routing purposes. It is not legal, tax, engineering, electrical, rebate, financing, insurance, or other professional advice.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, complete, secure, or current, or that any installer listing or source will remain accurate or available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Liberty Power Home and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, business interruption, or loss arising out of or related to your use of the site, your reliance on directory content, or your dealings with any installer or third party.

If we are found liable for a claim related to the site, our total liability will be limited to the amount, if any, you paid us directly for the specific service giving rise to that claim. For most public users of this site, that amount is likely zero.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Liberty Power Homeand its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

13. Suspension, Changes, and Termination

We may change, suspend, limit, or stop any part of the site or any workflow at any time. We may remove listings, disable quote flows, pause installer access, or block use of the site if we believe it is necessary for operational, security, legal, or quality reasons.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

This draft is intended for a U.S. business serving California homeowners. Before public launch, this section should be reviewed and updated with the correct legal entity name, governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution approach for the operator of the site.

15. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. If we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Your continued use of the site after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
